Hey John,
thanks! I had to keep clicking but eventually found one to play. I love all of these renditions…and recently just learned that there are two Bonaparte’s retreat. One about Bonaparte retreating, and the other version about boy-girl dancing while the band PLAYED Bonaparte retreat. Interesting!

That is interesting for sure. I have heard both as well! In folk music, songs sometimes get written about songs of the same name...
