Another of my current favorites
Joe Mullins & the Radio Ramblers
Joe's coming to the Mountain View Folk Center this spring. I can't wait. He's so good. :)
Yall blew this up! I have heard of few of these folks, but I have a ton of listening to do. I have really been focusing on listening to more banjo lately... du du duuuuu.
I almost forgot about the McPeak brothers! I used to really enjoy hearing them live in VA.
I never got to see them live but I've sure liked their music.
Not a ton of fiddlin in this song but some great harmonies! Fun fiddle licks too.
That was nice!
My current favorite vocal piece
Po' Ramblin" Boys
@fiddlewood he definately has a set of pipes on him! Amazing.
The moron brothers are local legends in these parts. Balogna eatin, bluegrass pickin comedians.
One day I will add a fiddle to this song.
I've had a hankerin' to play some Hank...old Hank Williams tunes. But if I put them on youtube, they'll put "copyright restriction" on there...which I still do not understand ... don't know what that means or does...so, I guess if I feel like doing a hank williams tune and get time to try, I'll just do it anyway...lol...youtube can call it copyright restriction if they want to.
Thank you @fiddlewood for introducing me to Patrick McAvinue!
And to @Double A for the Moron Brothers, lol.
Your welcome John! I like Patrick a lot. He is now playing for the US Navy band Country Current.
Russell Moore and I ..............
You are welcome brother. Good clean fun with some bluegrass pickin to boot.
Oh I missed the Moron Brothers video...lol. They are a blast...we've seen them here and there for years...funny and really good musicians.
Great picture @Nancy Bitter ! Where was that taken?
